The Sims Infinity is a tool that allows a person to submit themselves to a life within the game. Once you submit your life to it, you live as an avatar within the game, and are beholden to the decisions of your gamer. Your gamer is the average player of the Sims who understands the game and plays it regularly. Per the game they will control your actions. However you get to create your Sim avatar - choosing your characteristics, preferences and key skills. You experience your life in real time within the game, not at the sped up timeline of the Sims.
